Our company began initiatives toward obtaining this certification last year and has now been certified by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) as an “Outstanding Health & Productivity Management Organization (Large Enterprise Category) 2026.”

【What is the Certified Health & Productivity Management Organization Program? 】
“Health & Productivity Management” refers to the strategic management of the health of employees and others from a managerial perspective. Investing in the health of employees and others, based on corporate philosophy, leads to organizational revitalization through enhanced employee engagement and improved productivity. Ultimately, this is expected to contribute to better business performance and higher stock prices. Health & Productivity Management is one of the initiatives positioned in Japan’s Revitalization Strategy and the Future Investment Strategy for “extending the healthy life expectancy of the population.”
In FY2016, METI launched the “Certified Health & Productivity Management Organization Program” as one of its various health management recognition systems.
By “visualizing” corporations that implement excellent Health & Productivity Management, the program creates an environment in which they can gain social recognition from employees, job seekers, business partners, financial institutions, and others as “companies that take a strategic, management-focused approach to employee health management.”

【Purpose of Health & Productivity Management at our Company】
Guided by our Group Management Philosophy of “Think together, Work together, and Prosper together”, our Group has built a history spanning over 100 years by valuing our ‘connections’ with stakeholders and supporting one another. We aim to continue “Bringing Happiness through Food worldwide” by connecting not only products and services but also the intangible values such as people’s thoughts and feelings from upstream to downstream in the value chain.
To realize this philosophy, we position our employees — the driving force behind it — as “human assets” and are working to prevent performance decline and absenteeism caused by physical and mental health issues before they occur.
We will continue to promote Health & Productivity Management that enhances individual employee performance and, as a result, improves the productivity and vitality of the entire organization.
