On February 28, we served our coffee at the “Bora-machi Tei” stall in the Rescue Stock Yard at the “Anamizu Shopping Street Revitalization Oyster Festival.”
Before the earthquake, this event was a major attraction that drew many visitors from outside the prefecture as well. After the disaster, however, there were concerns that “it’s not as bustling as it used to be.” Nevertheless, despite the rainy weather on the day, the venue was lively, with lines forming in front of the stalls.
For about a year, our company has been visiting Anamizu Town once a month, calling on residents in temporary housing and continuing activities that provide emotional support and foster connections through coffee.
Our participation in this event was a natural extension of these ongoing efforts.
Going forward, we will continue our community-focused initiatives while enhancing the value of volunteer activities, all while balancing these efforts with our business operations.
