We have donated canned fruits, and also instant coffee produced by our consolidated subsidiary Allied Coffee Roasters Co., Ltd., to the non-profit organization WaiWai Session, in order to support people with disabilities enjoy fulfilling holidays.
The Japanese government is currently supporting the independence of people with disabilities, to increase the number of people choosing to live alone. However, many of them who are not used to living alone are facing challenges, especially with how to spend their days off.
The NPO WaiWai Session is working to create a warm “place to be” where people with disabilities can spend their holidays in a fun and fulfilling way. Through their activities, people spend time together with the volunteer staff, cooking lunch, chatting over coffee about their day-to-day lives, and enjoy holidays full of smiles.
