SDGs Lecture at Konan University’s Global Education Program

Our group places great importance on “promoting environmental education” and  “community engagement,” actively working alongside local communities to address social issues. As part of this commitment, we delivered our “Introduction to SDGs” lecture at Konan University again this year, spanning two weeks. This year’s theme focused on “The Importance and Challenges of Sustainability” and “Deep Dive into Social Issues.” We proceeded with the lecture incorporating examples of familiar foods like coffee and ramen to illustrate these concepts in a relatable way.
The lectures sparked lively discussions among the students, who shared innovative ideas and perspectives with remarkable enthusiasm. Witnessing their energetic engagement and fresh insights reinforced our belief that our efforts  contribute to a more sustainable future. These two weeks also gave us an expectation that sustainability will undergo major change by 2050, when these students will be leading figures in the society.
