We are pleased to announce that we have formally agreed with Kairbetta Estates and The United Planters’ Association of Southern India Tea Research Foundation, Tea Research Institute to launch a joint agricultural project aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
This project will pursue the optimal fertilizer composition by implementing measures such as replacing some chemical fertilizers with organic alternatives. Through these efforts, we aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while maintaining both environmental conservation and the production volume as well as quality of tea leaves. We will also focus on maintaining and improving soil health and optimizing nutrient cycles.
Through this project, we will continue to strive towards the realization of sustainable agriculture.
Please stay tuned for future developments.
