Coffee has been our major business line since our founding. As
a pioneer in the business, we established a system for supplying a wide variety
of products prices and flavors. To develop coffee specialists and cup testers,
we dispatch our staff to Brazil and other coffee-producing countries for
on-the-job training at plantations and other local facilities. Our cup testers,
thoroughly trained in classification and evaluation techniques, carefully inspect
green coffee bean quality at production centers, before shipments, and after importation
to Japan. |
| The crop and quality of green coffee beans are extremely vulnerable
to climatic changes. Coffee beans are therefore subject to radical fluctuations
in quality and market price. To obtain real-time information on climatic changes,
and take appropriate measures promptly, we have established information networks
by periodically visiting local suppliers and plantations. We have also developed
our original product lines, including our "Paraiso Series," which guarantees
high and stable quality throughout the year. |
